We are excited to share two new resources designed to support our community’s career growth:

• Job Readiness Checklist for New Graduates – a step-by-step guide to help recent grads prepare for their first roles.

• Job Readiness Checklist for Experienced Professionals – tailored for those seeking advancement, leadership opportunities, or a career transition.

These checklists cover everything from self-assessment, resume building, and networking to interview preparation, negotiation, and long-term growth. They are practical tools that members can use to track progress and identify areas for development.

Once you’ve completed the earlier steps and arrive at Step 6: Interview Preparation, you’ll have the opportunity to practice further by presenting. If you’d like to give a 5-minute presentation to the chapter members (sharing your interview approach, preparation tips, or lessons learned), please let our board know (employment-committee@isc2-siliconvalley-chapter.org) and we’ll schedule you into an upcoming meeting.

This is a great way to build confidence, practice communication skills, and receive supportive feedback from peers.
